I have recently been on the journey to find a new car and I find that a lot of car salesmen tend to force outcomes and decisions on the part of the client. While I understand that it’s their job to make sales and most people have to make a living, the decision is mainly on the individual person. In this case, I noticed that I was highly resistant to them.
Personally, I don’t like feeling pressured into a decision. I’ve made a lot of decisions in my lifetime, some good, some bad but there’s a higher likelihood that I’d make the wrong decision, especially if I make it abruptly. I’ve learned that if or when I really want something, it eventually happens any way as long as I remember to focus on the goal. Sometimes, when it does happen, I realize that the happiness or what I wanted is only temporary. I found that the time spent wanting something and the journey to obtaining what I want were actually more important.
I think the reason people tend to force outcomes usually stems from a place of lack rather than abundance. If I’m able to give all the good that I can give into the world, the world will return the good to me eventually. I believe this is true because energy travels from person to person. I give my best energy to the people around me and I will most likely receive all they can give to me.
This isn’t to say that I shouldn’t move towards the best decisions and best outcomes for me. It’s to say that if I gradually work towards when I want to achieve, that it will come to me since I’ve worked up to the work and continued to pursue it. The more important thing is to be more specific and comfortable with what I want so that I can clearly see it and visualize it on my mind and future.
If I’m able to visualize it well in my mind and future, there is a higher likelihood that I will achieve my goal and work towards it. This would in turn, affect or create the behaviours needed to meet and sustain the goals that I want to achieve in my lifetime.
Until the next post, thank you for reading! As always, wishing you love and success!
